During the month of April, Outside In is offering a variety of different workshops with tips to help you get your online gallery refreshed and up to date!

We know it’s been a difficult time this last year but we’ve also seen the power digital platforms can have to bring us together…

With this in mind, we wanted to offer a series of exciting sessions for you to get involved with to refresh your online gallery and make sure it is the best it can be to showcase your amazing work

Artist statement workshop  

Need some help to write your artist statement or want to revive your current one? It’s so important to have an artist statement which tells visitors more about you as an artist…

Artist statement one to one session

Do you need that extra support with writing your artist statement? Book an hour session with Anna to go over your artist statement, get tailored support and ask any questions you may have.

How to get the best out of your online gallery

So, you now have an online gallery with Outside In – what’s next? This session will focus on marketing and promoting your online gallery.  We will cover how best to share your online gallery with people. Come along to find out tips and advice on how to promote your gallery further. This session will be recorded.

Share Art

Share Art is a great event to attend and hear presentations about the fantastic art work by Outside In artists. Our April Share Art will be chaired by Outside In ambassador David Johnson and we will hear from four other artists about their work. Marc Steene, director of Outside In, will also be presenting. Come along, connect with other artists and be inspired!

Tips on how to take good photographs

Come along to hear some tips about the best way to photograph your artwork including setting up your picture, lighting, and which camera is best to use.

There will be a chance for you to ask any questions or to bring along a piece of artwork that you want advice on photographing.

Our all-new Outside In Artist Web App enables artists to access their online gallery right from their mobile phones. You can take photographs straight from your phone to upload and edit them, including cropping images…

We understand that getting set up with things technical can be difficult! We’ve set a dedicated support day to support you with this on Tuesday 27 April. Please get in touch to book in a 1-1 and we will help you get to grips with it!
