October's Artist of the Month is David Alexander Richardson.
Born in 1970 his painting alter-ego is called Mr Mole. A former PhD student from Cambridge University, England, he turned away from science to painting in 2001, and I hasn't looked back since. The paintings look at the extreme effects of the human mind, delving into the content of the bipolar way of thinking, alongside dream interpretation and religious themes.
His painting has appeared on this months issue of the British journal of Psychiatry.
