Stephen attends the Community Art Project twice a week in Darlington. He draws, paints and creates his striking tapestries. Stephen is self-taught in the art of tapestry and enjoys going to the shop to choose the wool and buy the plastic mesh that he uses to create them.

Stephen also enjoys travelling to different places on the train and the bus, which gives him ideas for his art. His favourite places to visit are Durham, Saltburn and Newcastle.
