Our Artist of the Month for August is Emma Louvelle.
Working across a wide range of disciplines, Emma Louvelle describes herself as “a South West based Double Headed Goat-fish, improviser, choreographer, dancer, collector and creator of images, objects and text”. She says “If no-one was ever to bear witness to my art, I would still create, it is as essential to me as breathing”.
Her artwork Back of Beyond (pictured right) was selected for inclusion in Alternative Visions: Undiscovered Art in the South West which is currently touring the South West of England.
