Thankyou for being here I am grateful.
I started making artwork whilst undertaking art therapy and I have developed my art over the last ten years. My art practice is varied in its nature with early works capturing the internal breakdown of the mind body and soul. Emerging as an artist today I am fascinated and intrigued by portraits, landscapes, abstract, expressionism. I have no boundaries to the roads of creativity I can explore and create going forwards. I am drawn to portraits and landscapes.
I am fascinated and inspired by many of the impressionists Monet, Cezanne, Pissarro, Sisley, Degas, Morisot and Cassatt as well as the earlier Masters of Da Vinci, Caravaggio, Singer Sargent and the journey of Sir Stanley Spencer.
My inspiration comes from the world around me and the wider universe. I enjoy seeing other Artists work the way they create and the benefit of creativity brings to this planet. I’m fascinated both by our planet and the universe, and the beauty of the planet and its nature and the creativity with in it.
I’m not classically trained but continue to learn, but I do admire the work of those who have been…. inspiring to my progression in Art. I feel free to express in a variety of forms, I don’t feel constrained but do want to produce work I feel has a sense of capturing a look in a portrait or a feeling of a sunny day in a landscape. I want people to feel moved by my work to want to invest in piece of the time of here and now.
Due to my own journey and those many people around the world who have faced challenges today who have had and will continue to have with mental health. I feel that I can connect from the mind body and soul with this community of amazing people and fellow artists who create from the soul opening the mind and in tune with their body for those….. we are truly all connected.
I hope you will connect understand and acknowledge whatever your own journey to reach out and ask for an artist to create a piece of work unique to you and to do this in your own life journey is a truly magical experience.
