From the artist:
Zephyrus is the Greek god of the west wind. The gentlest of the winds, known as the fructifying wind, the messenger of spring. In Greek mythology, his counterpart Chloris (meaning greenish-yellow, pale green, pale, pallid, or fresh) was a nymph or goddess who was associated with spring, flowers, and new growth. Chloris was abducted by Zephyrus. Look at the nose- can you see her?
