Three of my painting’s were chosen for the 2013 Outside In Exhibtion at Compton VerneyArt Gallery near Stratford Upon Avon,Warwickshire, England. This exhibition ran from March to December. My TNT Airbus work “Sure we can” was very popular and was used a lot by Compton Verney and Outside In/Pallant House to promote the exhibition, it also featured in several media publications. My three paintings adorned the same walls as Constable and Turner for 9 months of 2013. I was one of six artists asked to choose a work from Compton Verney’s Folk Art Collection; I chose “Schooners approaching harbour” by the St Ives artist Alfred Wallis. My work from the exhibition features in this short Compton Verney video, as does Alfred Wallis’s. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Mp5uZQKXkU My greatest passion in life is travel; another is art. I also have an interest in engineering. Amongst my past employers have been Rolls-Royce Military Aero Engines, Cosworth Motorsport, TNT Express and Cow & Gate Babyfoods. All of these companies have inspired me to paint modes of transport from all of them. Every new painting I strive to better my technique and push my artistic boundaries. I aim to develop my artistic journey into the abstract so that I can attempt to communicate positive views I wish to convey to art viewers.I love colour and try to make my paintings vibrant and positive. My childhood was very dark and has given me very debilitating psychological problems that I am still trying to iron out. Everyday I strive to do something positive no matter my mood and I am emerging from the darkness that has been my past. I try to live in the moment and be and do positive; the past has gone and no longer exists and the future is yet to happen and does not exist. I am getting there. xx
