KaleidoSkeleton Ti : 2 (2020) is a public testimony of private pain; an unapologetic embodiment of the physical, psychological, cognitive, cultural, spiritual, sensorial, medical and social pain that manifests in the quotidian of the lives of the hidden, the unheard and the unrepresented.
This series is a collection of audio-visual generative art confronting the Medical Model of Disability, tackling the diagnostic gaze, and highlighting social wellbeing as pivotal to the experience of chronic pain, and a good quality of life. ‘KaleidoSkeleton Ti : 2’ moves beyond aesthetic mediations of pain, and brings in the aural, and the visual vestibular stim - an embodied aesthetic experience.
